Enrich periodically offers transfer bonuses for bank points, usually 2-3 times a year (every 3-4 months). These are great opportunities to cash out your bank bonus points.

Enrich is back with limited-time bank points conversion promo, rewarding you with bonus Enrich Points (Carbs) when you convert bonus points from participating banks. There is no cap to the amount of bonus Enrich you can earn, but you must convert a minimum of 1000 Enrich to be eligible.

Early Bird Bonus (15 Jul – 17 Jul, 2025) – 20% Extra Enrich
Convert within the first 3 days, and you’ll get a 20% bonus on your Enrich Points.
Example:
- Convert 10,000 worth of Enrich from Bank Points → Receive 12,000 Enrich
- Extra 2,000 Enrich (20%)
Standard Bonus (18 July – 31 Aug, 2025) – 10% Extra Enrich
Missed the early bird promo? You can still get 10% bonus if you convert between 18 July – 31 Aug, or you can wait for the next window later (no guarantees).
Example:
- Convert 10,000 worth of Enrich from Bank Points → Receive 11,000 Enrich Points
- Extra 1,000 Enrich (10%) – Still a solid top-up for future redemptions.

Conversion Time
On paper, bank points must be converted and reflected in your Enrich account within the Promotion Period, by 17 July 2025 for the 20% bonus, or 31 August 2025 for the 10% bonus.
However, based on past data points from our readers, as long as you initiate the transfer within the promo period (even on the last day, like 17 July), you’ll likely still receive the 20% bonus, even if the points only appear in your Enrich account a few days later, say on 21 July.
That said, this grace period isn’t stated in the official T&Cs, so we strongly recommend converting early to be safe.
Bonus Points are treated differently from Base Points
Bonus Points are only valid for 1 year from the date they’re earned. They also don’t count towards the trigger of Mid-Tier Bonus.
So if you’re making the most of your Enrich Gold or Platinum status, keep that in mind.
Also, there is no way to extend the expiry of Enrich – regardless of account activity. Unlike some other frequent flyer programs that extend points’ validity with transactions, Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich program does not have this feature.

Should You Convert?
Look, if you have bank bonus points expiring soon or are planning a redemption, this is a great chance to top up some Enrich (Carbs).
If you have cards like Maybank or CIMB, you’d typically want to save them for Meat and Seafood miles. But with a 10-20% bonus, it’s worth considering if converting to Enrich makes sense for you. You can always search for redemption availability before deciding.
Always earn and burn — redeem for flights as soon as possible. Enrich devalues frequently, so there’s no point hoarding points for too long.
