2. Bonus 40% Etihad Guest Miles for CIMB Bonus Points Transfer

This one’s for the more advanced seafood mileschasers. We don’t talk much about Etihad, they’re kind of the forgotten 3rd/4th mindshare among Middle East airlines, usually overshadowed by Emirates, Qatar, and even Oman Air.

Etihad Guest miles are usually pricey for redemptions on Etihad flights. If you need to fly Etihad, might be better off using AAdvantage miles (via HeyMax).

That said, there are some sweet spots with Etihad for partner redemptions, so you might find this 40% Bonus useful.

3. Krisflyer Spontaneous Escapes For Travel in Nov 2025 (Booking end date: 31 October)

KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes is a monthly feature of the Krisflyer (Meat) miles program. Each month, usually on the 15th, selected routes are offered at 30% off the regular Saver redemption rate for flights to or from Singapore for the next month.

The downside? No flexibility, no refunds, no changes, and you must be ready to fly the next month. The discounted fares apply only on flights departing from or arriving in Singapore, meaning you’ll have to connect from/to Malaysia.

4. CIMB offering up to 50% Cashback on Flights (Ends 31 Mar 2026)

CIMB TWE, CIMB Travel, and CIMB Preferred VI cardholders: From 1 July 2025 to 31 March 2026, spend RM60,000 in foreign currency (you only need to hit RM60,000 once throughout the 3 quarters) or maintain a quarterly average account balance of RM250,000 (quarterly average balance) to enjoy up to 50% cashback on flight bookings, capped at:

👉RM6,000 across the entire campaign

5. Touch n Go Visa Travel Card – Instant 3% Cashback for Overseas Spend (Ends 31 Dec)

TnG has released a new Visa Travel Card, with a promotion offering up to 3% instant cashback on transactions of RM300 and above, valid until 31 December 2025.

6. Visa Infinite Promo: Get 20% cashback via ShopBack when you book flights with selected airlines using any Malaysia issued Visa Infinite cards. (Ends 27 Dec)

ShopBack is offering 20% cashback (capped at RM50 per month) when you book flights with Malaysia Airlines, Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, or Singapore Airlines using any Visa Infinite credit cards issued in Malaysia.

That means you can use cards like UOB VI, Hong Leong VI, and AmBank Enrich VI too. The same RM50 monthly cap applies, and you’ll need to link your card with ShopBack to enjoy the cashback. 

This promo runs every month until the end of 2025. RM50 isn’t a huge amount. But hey, if you’re already planning to book, might as well. View the full details here.

7. Up to 50% dining cashback for Hong Leong Bank Visa Card (End date: 2 Jan 2026)

The Hong Leong Bank Visa Infinite is a highly recommended card for dining with earning rate of 1MPR, and we have written a review about the card here.

On top of that, you may also 50% discount (up to RM50 cashback) every Friday at many dining spots in various malls in KL and Penang. The quota is RM8,900 each Friday — first come, first served.
